Music was and still is the thing that unites the whole Proulx family from generations past and generations to come. Although having taken piano lessons, playing flute, and singing in many choirs, Jeannine's love of music was as a child and continues to be writing. Original songwriting for kids is her niche. From making up lyrics to songs she didn't know the words to, to her first original song "Oh, winter," Jeannine's ability to create melodies and lyrics is persistently present. Luckily she has a few brothers who did take music theory and do know how to play the piano, expertly! One of those brothers, John Proulx, turned her little melodies for kids into gorgeous music that the whole family can enjoy with her first musical album. The Melodies, Harmonies for kids is available now. The Melodies songs are available as a musical CD and also a social and emotional Life Readiness Lesson for preschool programs with Yoga Dance inspired dance movements, lesson plan art activities, guided relaxations, and worksheets. |
